Star Wars : The Entire Saga

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, a guy existed who was never interested nor fascinated by a series so good but one day he decided to watch it. Yaa I'm that guy. For a very long time I had procrastinated the idea of watching this saga. I used to start Episode I : The Phantom Menace but barely could finish it. But the hype that surrounded these movies made me sit through the entire series without any sort of regret.

The entire saga is divided into 4 parts i.e original trilogy, prequel trilogy, sequel trilogy and the standalone movies. As of now we have in total 10 movies that have been released. There is a particular order to watch these films which I'll be providing shortly. lets just say that George Lucas the visionary guy behind this very successful project is the reason that we have around 10 movies now. He is the reason why we have a prequel and a sequel trilogy as he was the mastermind behind the original trilogy. People were inquisitive about the story-line which led to the creation of prequel trilogy.

Basically the order is a bit here and there like X-men but I'm here to help you guys out. Here I'm not considering the animated flicks or the TV series made till date.

The order to watch these movies is as follows:-

PREQUEL TRILOGY
Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) 
Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)      *Set 10 years after Episode I
Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)       *Set 3 years after Episode II

ORIGINAL TRILOGY
Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)                     *Set immediately after the ending of Rogue One
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)   *Set 3 years after Episode IV
Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)             *Set a year after Episode V

SEQUEL TRILOGY
Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)          *Set 30 years after Episode VI
Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)                   *Set few seconds after Episode VII

Anthology 
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)        *Set 9 years after Solo
Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)                   *Set 10 year after Episode III

As of now, apart from the release date, the details of Episode IX are not yet revealed. The story-line has been hit pretty bad due to the untimely demise of Carrie fisher who plays Princess Leia Organa, Daughter of Anakin Skywalker. The original trilogy became famous because of the three unique characters  Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo. Apart from these 3, we have many more important characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda , Chancellor Palpatine, Padmé Amidala and the droids R2-D2 , BB-8 and the humanoid robot C3PO .The entire series revolves around good and the dark side. How the inhibitions, creations and fear lead to the purity and impurity in ones nature. Not only we see the Jedi's battling the Siths or dark lords with a lightsaber but we also get to witness a journey where new types of species are introduced like the Gungans, Wookies, Ewoks, Droids, Hutts, Dugs etc. Its such a revolutionary job by Mr. Lucas to provide the world with an epic journey of the space.
            
Currently I've only watched 9 movies. The 10th movie i.e Solo got released in the month of may.To be honest the standalone movies are not that great. Rogue One felt an unnecessary inclusion to the series although it does give a fair idea about the ending and the beginning of Episode III & IV.
            
I'm eagerly waiting for Episode IX as we have no clue about who Rey is and what she can achieve. The waiting period seems long as it will not be released before December 2019 .

Finally Black Panther hits the big screens and boy oh boy I'm impressed. The moment I saw Black panther in Captain America : Civil War I was fascinated by the vibranium suit and the character development by the end of movie.Having a very inquisitive mind, I decided to look into the past about who  Black panther really is.                 As we all know the the movie is right after T'Challa's father's death which happens in Civil War.
