Top Hindi Series of 2020

Image
Since March 2020, a lot of the Indian audience made a classic switch to OTT platforms by buying monthly to yearly  subscriptions  of their preferred platforms. It was pretty clear that nowadays, entertainment is a thirst that only OTT platforms can quench. With a surge in the online viewership, creators decided to make good shows by taking the leap of faith. Such legendary shows have been created over the time with a captivating story and the Indian audience have shown their love and support to such shows. In this post, I’ll be stating the top Hindi (Indian) series that in my opinion were a class apart. Now, there were a lot of shows which I cannot possibly add in this list and I would be mentioning them in the latter part of the post. Also, watching every new show is just next to  impossible  and hence there is a slight possibility that I might have skipped a few good ones. Nevertheless, here is the list for the top 5 Hindi series that released in 2020 : 1) Mirzapur Season 2 A series

The Peanut Butter Falcon Review

Nowadays, movies have lost the charm to make you feel good. Its either filled with too much heroic stuff that makes you feel conscious about yourself or spooky visual effects of situations that may not happen.Repeated cliched scripts seldom capture the essence of a great movie and ends up having zero connection with the audience. In times like these, I found a 2019 film named "The Peanut Butter Falcon". 2019 is often considered to be an unappreciated year for movies because the top grossers of the year were movies that were slightly or heavily connected to DC or marvel. Apart from that,we had movies from big directors like Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Sam Mendes, James Mangold,Safdie brothers, etc. During a year filled with so much action and drama, a lot of movies that are minutely capable of being a game changer for a particular genre end up being sidelined. Fortunately, The Peanut Butter Falcon didn't suffer from this and ended up being the highest grossing indep

"Perhaps the difference between what is miserable, and that, which is spectacular, lies in the leap of faith" - Sushant Singh Rajput Dil Bechara starts with the above quote by the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) and that is the exact moment you realise that the movie is going to be an emotional roller coaster ride. Writing about this makes me sad, so as a token of appreciation I'll just state facts and the things I liked about the movie. This will be my heartfelt note to the late actor who has given us great movies like Kai Po Che, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Chhichhore, etc. To begin with Dil Bechara, we all know it is an adaptation of "The Fault in Our Stars". If by any chance you have read "The  fault in out stars" by John Green or watched the Hollywood  adaptation with the same name, you know how it ends. Although I was not a fan of the movie but watching SSR play the role of Manny (Augustus in the book

Greenland: Watch it now

So we're currently in the final stages of 2020; a year that most people will remember for ages to come. I just cannot fathom how swiftly these 8 months just flew away. Staying at home became a big thing and apart from studying and learning, I needed my share of entertainment. Naturally I found it on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime,Netflix,Hotstar, etc and while surfing around through such platforms,I found Greenland. Greenland is a movie with a plot that you've seen and heard over a million times but still ends up keeping you gripped for its entire duration of around 2 hrs. Now to be honest I was not exactly sure whether to watch this movie or not. So with some amount of scepticism I decided to watch it and man-o-man it does keep you hooked.  So a comet named Clarke is en route to destroy our planet and the only place safe enough is a bunker in Greenland. The entire runtime of the movie is about how Gerard Butler along with his wife and son try to reach the bunker. Gerard Butler
